In addition to the complete set of routine direct graphics and special imaging procedures, portable radiology is also at the service of our hospitalized patients.

PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System)

PACS is a picture and data management system in radiology. The system allows instant access to patient images by physicians at the hospital, their office or anywhere. In addition to provide effective image and data transfer, the system also ensures digital archiving of the patient films and access to the archive even after many years. This innovative system eliminates the physicians’ need for huge patient files and binders, and allows digital traffic of the complete data and images via a computer network. Our hospital offers x-ray imaging for 24 hours.


Our division offers direct radiography examination with digital generation via CR systems. The examinations are supervised by specialists and performed by skilled radio technology professionals with academic background. Examinations are instantly reported or communicated to the clinician in cases of emergency. All routine examinations are reported by specialists. Direct radiology examinations at our hospital are completely performed at our special department using digital RF or conventional x-ray techniques depending on individual requirements. Examinations in this category are also applicable at the patient bed in required conditions. X-ray filming is available around the clock.


As an innovative technology in mammography imaging, digital mammography has become a fundamental diagnostic method in breast diseases and cancer. Unlike conventional mammography, digital images are generated through the use of electronic sensors. These images are then analyzed on special, HD monitors. Image post processing such as resizing, scaling and contrast settings are easily done without independently of the dose of x-ray. The following are a few of the many benefits offered by digital mammography:

Short analysis periods. Images are displayed on screen within 1 minute after imaging. This also gives an idea on image quality.

The dose of radiation is smaller than conventional mammography.

Images can be archived and transferred in digital environment.


Along with high resolution, perfect image quality provided by advanced ultrasonography instruments facilitates the diagnostic process. We are at your service in our specially designed rooms furnished with our brand new ultrasonographic equipments. Our department provides all ultrasonographic examinations and invasive procedures associated to the ultrasonographic process.


Bone densitometry is a method used by physicians to assess the density of the mineral contents of the bone. This method identifies bone loss (osteoporosis). As with all diseases, early diagnosis is also possible for osteoporosis (loss of bone density). All examinations in this category are carried out by radio technology specialists. Screening of the bones is performed without contact while the patient is positioned on her back. The procedure taking 10 minutes is highly precise, does not require any preparation and is available at any time of the day. The amount of emitted radiation does not exceed the x-rays one is exposed during the use of computers.


Our MRG system has been replaced with a 1.5 Tesla, SIEMENS(r) Essenza MRG equipment featuring the latest technology. The equipment fitted with special coils with adequate capacity for each region is capable of:
