Radiation Oncology

Radiotherapy method is a procedure commonly used in treatment of cancer, which is intended to treat cancerous tissues and some of benign tumors. Radiation light rays used in radiotherapy are applied to stop growth of cancerous cells or to kill such cells. Radiation therapy can be performed pre- and post-operatively along with chemotherapy through the patient’s own treatment conditions. Successful results are obtained in radiotherapy thanks to the multidisciplinary approach, modern methods and advanced technological equipment.
